Personal Travel Planning
Personal Travel Planning
Personal Travel Planning (PTP) is an approach to delivering targeted informationdirectly to travellers, to help them make sustainable travel choices. It seeks to overcome habitual use of the car, enabling more journeys to be made on foot, bike, bus, train or in shared cars. It can also seek to discourage unnecessary travel, through the provision of local or site-specific information.
PTP can be applied in a number of contexts, for example schools, workplaces and residential communities.
